Guys, does your girl cook meals for you? Simple dinners, complicated meals, or crock pot meals? Now it’s your turn to wow her.

On my next installment of birthday-related posts, I am writing one for all you guys out there who think they can’t cook. Surprise your girl with these easy, at-home recipes!

Breakfast in Bed

Breakfast for breakfast, brunch, or breakfast for dinner. You can’t go wrong. Honestly, it’s the thought that counts. But don’t forget the orange juice and coffee! Try one of these…

Eggs & bacon

Buy some bacon (or sausage), put some aluminum foil down on a pan (much easier to clean later), and put the pan in the oven following the instructions on the packaging. While that cooks, scramble up some cracked eggs in a microwave-safe bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each 30 seconds. Continue until fluffy. Season with some salt and pepper, and you’re good to go!

Waffles or pancakes

Usually it’s as easy as just-add-water. Buy some pancake mix and syrup, and follow the instructions on the box. Feel free to make bacon or sausage on the side of this one too. Or even surprise her with a fresh bowl of fruit!

Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls

Honestly, this is as easy as it gets, and still a sweet surprise in the morning. Pre-made and just need to be baked and frosted! The Grands tend to be larger and gooier (recommended). Serve ’em up with some coffee or orange juice, and you’re set! But bonus points for mimosas…

Pasta & Garlic Bread

She doesn’t need to know you bought a pre-made jar of her favorite pasta sauce! Heat that up in a pan on the stove, stirring it every so often. Toss some garlic bread in the oven, boil some noodles, sprinkle some fresh parmesan over the heated sauce and noodles, and you’re good to go. You could even boil or steam a vegetable (like green beans, carrots, or broccoli) as a side!

oven cooked Foil dinners

With a little bit of seasoning and an oven, you can make your girl a phenomenal home-cooked meal. Take your pick between 30 foil-wrapped oven meals here!

Easy Beef Enchiladas

When looking for an enchilada recipe I found this 5-ingredient one on Pinterest. Find it here! All you need is a pound of ground beef, a can of red enchilada sauce, a jar of salsa, large flour tortillas, and a bag of shredded cheese. Prepared and ready in under an hour!

Guys, if none of these are quite what you’re looking for, look to Pinterest for more easy ideas. I’m sure you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for! Ladies, start dropping those, “Hey, that looks good…” hints!
