I am 22 years old. Up until this point in my life, I have not had to purchase my own furniture. I moved from my parents’ house, to a college dorm, to a furnished AirBnB, and finally to a pre-furnished apartment in Central Illinois. Not having to pay for furniture has been a blessing financially, but with some items not being in the best shape, Andrew and I are looking forward to picking out our own in the near future.
I’ve been anticipating our move back to Chicago since we left the city after our summer adventure…looking for potential apartments, saving themes and designs for decor and living spaces, you name it! As fun as that has been, I am coming to the following realizations:
- We aren’t going to have a ton of [storage] space
- Furnishings are expensive
I am brainstorming ways to solve both of these problems, starting with purging my clothes. Our current closet is not usually shared between two people, so squeezing two closets worth of clothes into one has been a challenge. I could stand to get rid of some pieces I don’t wear regularly, or tell myself I’m going to wear then don’t.
That being said, you can find all, if not most, of my items for sale via Poshmark. If you don’t have a Poshmark account, and you don’t feel like creating one, you can also contact me via Instagram! All of the items are listed under the highlight labeled , FOR SALE (see below)!
Unfortunately, there are some pieces in my closet I will so selfishly keep. 😉 More than likely, you will be able to find those pieces on this little mobile app called LIKEtoKNOW.it. Sometime in the next month, I will be sharing a blog post more about this app, and how it can make your shopping experience easier!
Long story short, you can shop my outfits piece by piece, meanwhile helping me out. When you buy via the photos/links in the app (or this link here), I earn a small commission! Also, isn’t picking out clothes easier when you can compare sizes and colors on other shoppers or buyers? Not to mention ALL of the outfit inspo…yes please!
What types of clothing are you looking to add to your closet in 2020? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll see what I can find for you!
